Beam-I

Maria Elena González
González is a sculptor who often incorporates the viewer as a physical part of her work. She says that *Beam-I* is both a physical and a conceptual installation. González’s approach to sculpture, in this instance, “is one of immateriality and interactivity.” *Beam-I* is cantilevered out into the landscape, creating a viewing platform that offers vistas of the Park and other works of art.
